Welcome to Natural History Collages. By placing an order on this website, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. General Information

We create and sell art prints, digital downloads, and customized artwork. These Terms apply to all purchases made through this website.
2. Products
We offer:
- Unframed physical posters (fulfilled via print-on-demand partners such as Printful)
- Digital download files
- Customized artwork
Product colors may vary slightly due to monitor settings and local printing. Print sizes may vary slightly due to production tolerances.
3. Orders & Payment
We accept payment through the methods shown at checkout. Orders are not considered final until payment is successfully processed.
We reserve the right to cancel any order (for example, due to payment failure, suspected fraud, or unavailable materials). If your order is cancelled, you will be refunded in full.
4. Shipping
Physical posters are printed and shipped by print-on-demand production partners. Shipping times vary by destination and production workload.
Any customs duties, import taxes, or fees are the buyer’s responsibility.
Please ensure your shipping address is correct. We are not responsible for orders shipped to an incorrect address provided by the customer.
5. Returns & Refunds — Physical Posters
You may return physical, non-customized posters within 14 days of receiving your order, including under the EU Right of Withdrawal. You do not need to give a reason.
To start a return, email us at hello@naturalhistorycollages.com within 14 days of delivery.
- Items must be returned in original condition
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs
- Please send returns within 14 days of notifying us
- We may withhold reimbursement until we receive the returned goods or proof of shipment

Refunds will be issued after inspection to the original payment method.
This return right applies only to physical posters.
Digital Downloads
Due to their nature, digital files are not refundable.
Custom Artwork
Custom and made-to-order collages are not eligible for return. If there is an issue with your order, contact us and we will be happy to do our best to help.
6. Customization & User Input
If you request customization, you agree that:
- You have the rights to any text, ideas, or reference materials you provide
- We may decline customization at our discretion
- Processing times may vary
We retain the right to display customized works (with personal information removed) unless you request otherwise.
7. Digital Downloads
When you purchase a digital file:
- You receive a personal, non-exclusive license.
- You may print the file for personal use.
- You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially reproduce the file.
No physical item will be shipped for digital download purchases.
8. Intellectual Property
All artwork, images, and text on this website are protected by copyright and may not be copied, reproduced, or used commercially without permission.
9. Privacy & Data
- We collect and process personal information as needed to fulfill orders.
- We do not sell your information.

10. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
- Delays caused by production partners or carriers.
- Import taxes or customs fees.
- Losses resulting from misuse of products.
- Indirect or incidental damages.
Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the product(s).
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of The Netherlands. Any disputes shall be handled in Dutch courts unless otherwise required by local consumer law.
European customers retain rights under EU consumer protection law.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally.
Continued use of the website after updates indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
