About Us

Our Story

Barry Boone, our founder, became a natural science illustrator because of his love of antique natural history illustrations: the kind you find in old field journals, museum archives, and early encyclopedias.

While creating museum exhibits and artwork for state parks, Barry often referenced illustrations by masters of the craft. Just for fun, he began collaging his favorite images into new artwork inspired by the things he loved: classic books, favorite places, national parks, myths, and constellations—using drawings that hadn’t seen the light in a century or more.

During a studio tour this past year, after selling out his stock, he thought, why not make them available to people everywhere?

Today, these natural history collages hang in homes, reading rooms, cafés, and small offices: anywhere people love stories, nature, and beauty.

We hope these artworks help you celebrate the stories and places that have shaped your life. And thank you for visiting; we’re honored to help you bring a little more wonder into your space.
